Weekend Recap and Book Wish List

Good morning, and happy hump day! I had planned to post a review of the all natural beauty products I've been using and loving lately in honor of Earth Day, but that's going to have to wait until later in the week. Instead, I'm catching you up on scenes from the weekend and leaving you with a decor and entertaining booklist/wishlist.

The weekend weather was glorious! It seriously makes me feel like a different person when it's warm and sunny outside. I got my much needed Vitamin D infusion as I finally found my groove again and did two five mile runs.

And on Saturday, I refueled with a delicious smoothie (a phrase that rarely comes from my mouth-- don't know why I have never been able to get on the kick. I guess I'm more of a savory, filling breakfast kind of gal.)

I shopped the Patagonia web sale for Baby Girl and picked up this bunting for the fall...

Meme (The Sailor's Mom) stopped by with a present for Baby Girl too!

And the Sailor and I had a date night  -- More specifically, a dinner and Destination Maternity date in the hopes of buying some new jeans. Total fail in the jeans department. I tried on no fewer than six pairs and NONE of them fit...forget looking flattering. Even the high end brands were just awful! Any suggestions for brands, please send them my way!

And now for the book list! These are just a few of the pretty picture books that are on my wish list!

"In The New Bohemians, LA-based designer Justina Blakeney defines the New Bohemians as creative individuals who are boutique owners and bloggers, entrepreneurs and ex-pats, artists and urban farmers. They embrace free-spirited, no-rules lifestyles and apply that attitude to all areas of their existence, including their homes. With little distinction between work and play, the new boho home often includes an office, art gallery, showroom, photography studio, restaurant, or even a pop-up shop. The New Bohemians explores 20 homes located primarily on the East and West coasts. Exclusive interviews with the owners, 12 DIY projects created by Blakeney and inspired by objects found in the homes, and a "Plant-O-Pedia" offer insight into achieving this aesthetic. In addition, each home is accompanied by an Adopt-an-Idea section that offers general decor, styling, and shopping tips for easy duplication in your own home."
