How to Wear Your Wellies?

Just received a pair of violet Wellies and navy liners for my birthday and I'm wondering how to wear them. Any thoughts?

With short shorts, like Kate Moss or the stunning Jessica Stroup (aka Erin Silver from the new 90210-- you may not recognize her hidden behind those shades)....

 

Regardless of how many miles I run, I don't think my legs will EVER look like that. So, let's consult Polyvore for some more realistic ideas...
