Style Crush: Marissa Webb

Marissa Webb of  JCrew, Polo, and Club Monaco heritage...

LOVE this look. Effortless

I thought I was waaay late to the party on this learning about this fabulous designer - but then I spotted an article in Elle from July 2012 announcing Marissa's "new" collection. Marissa will officially launch her collection during fall Fashion Week, with clothing, which includes t-shirts starting at $150 to $1,500 one-of-a-kind couture pieces, expected to be for sale in early 2013. Prior to starting her own line, Marissa spent ten years at the helm of womenswear design at JCrew and clearly has an incredible eye for fashion.

American Beauty, a gorge coffee table book by Vogue photog Claiborne Swanson Frank, featured Marissa among other "exemplars of kaleidoscopic American beauty" like Marissa Mayer, Lauren Bush Lauren and Aerin Lauder (anyone see that Aerin graced the September cover of Town and Country? Another one of my style crushes!)

Just look at this silver stunner she wore for the Assouline shoot! It fits her absolutely perfectly. To die for.

Marissa Webb "embraces a playful feminine elegance in her designs while integrating a cool masculine edge. The collection is created to appeal to the woman who appreciates timeless fashion but maintains the confidence to incorporate contrasting and unexpected pieces." - Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

Sporting the Kate Middleton-esque navy blazer! Once I get my own navy blazer, I can try this look with the trendy blue skinny jeans that I bought back in the spring. Yup, mine were from JCrew too! Think hers fit a tad bit slimmer than mine!

Be bold, sister! A fellow member of the Orange Fan Club! My favorite color...even more favorite than pink.

And if her interior design sense is anything like her flair for fashion, just imagine her house! Here's a glimpse into that oasis...

What says welcome like this amazing iron work in the entrance???

If you're like me and can't get enough of her style, check out Marissa's boards on Pinterest.
