Gift Guides and Friday Finds

Whoa- the stores have holiday decor and the holiday gift guide posts are already circulating the blogosphere! How many shopping days are left??? Usually by this time of the year, I have not only started my shopping but have made pretty good progress. Buuut not this year! Anyway, some of the lifestyle bloggers that I follow, including Nicole's Guide to Style, View from My Heels, Waiting on Martha, and A Pumpkin and a Princess have some ideas to get your Christmas lists started.

More random musings...

Don't miss out on the chance to win great giveaways from Two Twenty One and 30 (yes! 30) other creative bloggers. Hop on over to participate in the My Favorite Things Giveaway. I mean, check out this basket from Two Twenty One-- It's chock full of my favorite things too! Reese's, stationary, Target, Starbucks and pretty scarves. Crossing my fingers that I win!

What's on my list of favorite things this week? Here's the round-up!

Essie Ladylike Nail Polish
I was a big fan of a gray nailpolish with a little sparkle all last fall and winter, but this year, I've been sporting the violet. With the cold weather coming, it's sure to match my frozen fingers soon!

Lollia Imagine
I received a free sample of Lollia Imagine hand lotion forever ago and finally dug it out this week. Sorry I waited so long and missed out on this heavenly scent. With hints of coconut and orchid, it makes me long for a tropical escape!

Tazo Pumpkin Spice Chai
I swear Target has the best selection of teas around. They have everything from the basic Lipton Green Tea (well, my palate prefers the not-so-basic White Mangosteen Peach Green Tea) to a million and one flavors of Harney and Son's. For all fans of pumpkin spice, pick up a box of the Tazo pumpkin spice chai next time you're in there. It has all the taste of a Starbuck's drink but without any of the calories!

Nike Pro Hyper Warm Cold Weather Compression Tights - So last weekend, the Sailor and I stopped into a sporting goods store to pick up a new pair of Saucony Ride 7's for me. I wrote about my last pair here, and sadly, it was time to replace them. The new pair seems almost too cushiony in the heel and rub a bit in the big toe area, but I'm hoping I just need to break them in. On the other hand, I also picked up a pair of Nike running tights, that are very comfortable. I'm not one to wear athletic clothes around unless I'm working out, but I've found myself hanging out in these leggings. They're fleecy inside and definitely have kept me warm on some windy days. I have a couple of other pairs of compression tights that really dig in at the seams and aren't quite as stretchy, but these are by far the best fit of any I own.

What's on your favorites list?
