Style Icon: India Hicks

Model, author, hotelier, decorator, tv reality show host, creator of fragrance and jewelry lines. India Hicks is an ambitious woman.
Look- Albany!!! Right in there with London and Berlin. How cosmopolitan!

Former host of Top Design on Bravo TV

And British royalty to boot...As goddaughter and second cousin to Prince Charles, India is 521st in line for the throne and was a bridesmaid in Princess Diana's wedding. She's named in honor of her grandfather, Lord Mountbattan, who was the last viceroy of India.

Despite a very busy schedule, she has a hideaway in the Bahamas where she retreats to rejuvenate. The bright, white palate creates a serene place to kick back and relax. This must be the result of having famed interior designer David Hicks as a father.

And what a place to play with her four beautiful children!

Little towhead children - adorable
Scenery like this must have inspired her new jewelry line....Do you believe that she gets that killer tan wearing Fallene Solar Protection SPF58?

Out of pure envy, you want to find something not-so-perfect with the woman who has it all.  Yet, she's described as having a sincere and warm personality and a big heart.  She recently completed the Ride for Hope and her third marathon for charity.

Next on my list of top-places-to-travel, The Landing on Harbour Island. India designed the plantation style boutique hotel, and she also owns several homes that she rents out.

“Nestled in a grove of over 200 palm trees just above the pink sand beaches, our guest houses have been designed with the same care as our home,” says India. “Reflecting the comfort of classic West Indian style, both the Guesthouse and Cricket Pavilion feature somewhat of a curation of treasures gathered from our travels.”
The personal detail lends a welcoming sense of intimacy amid the exquisiteness. A collection of shells against an inspiration board reads like a little vignette window into their stylish, carefree lives.

Ahhhh. Pure paradise!
